My page includes my testimony poem, the original poem that I wrote (which has a rhythm), and two poems I love by Edgar Allan Poe.
My testimony poem is a re-written paragraph from a diary of a Jewish girl who lived during The Holocaust. My original poem is about the groups main topic, which is forgotten poems. In other words poetry that was once famous but is no longer being noticed. Once great writers of poetry now nothing but a single name.
The two poems that I chose to use were both written by Edgar Allan Poe. To me his poems are one of a kind. Every time he wrote a poem they say he thought about what he his next word was gonna be. He didn't just write because he felt like it, he wrote for a meaning, for a purpose. To me his poetry is just purely amazing.
