Testimony Poems
Liliana;
October 1941, Jews from Bessarabia and
Bukovia were deported to a part
of western Ukraine.
The area was called Dniester, in August 1941 it was named Transnitria.
Romanian military authorities killed the Jews
in massive numbers during deportations.
Jews were left to die in unsealed ghettos.
Exposed to misery in the form of
hunger, cold, illneess, filth, death, humiliation, & despair
(Miriam Korber)
